Embark on a heartfelt journey with my small yet powerful project, "Conversations with Dad." It all started from a deeply personal place, as we (my family and I) experienced the impact of my father's struggle to communicate fluently after a brain tumor surgery. My goal now is to touch the hearts of a wider audience and raise awareness about the pressing issue of secondary illiteracy.
Originally designed to aid those whose reading abilities were impaired, especially after brain surgery, I soon realized that such an approach often shifted the responsibility onto the victim—a common flaw in the prevailing system.

As you delve deeper into the project, you'll notice an intriguing transformation—more and more information is cleverly encoded using the ancient Glagolitic characters, once a vibrant Proto-Slavic language of our region. Through this symbolism, I tired to shed light on the lost connection while forming a profound bond with individuals touched by secondary illiteracy.
With a creative blend of laser printing techniques, original brushstrokes, and captivating coal textures, each page of my project exudes a unique and intimate character.
